This switch connects to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and includes a 433MHz RF receiver, allowing control via compatible RF remotes (sold separately). It supports remote ON/OFF, timers, schedules, and smart scenes through the eWeLink app, and integrates with Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control.
The RFR2 version builds on the Basic R2 by adding RF control, making it ideal for users who want physical remote access in addition to app-based automation. It supports two-way control, meaning physical switches can operate alongside smart controls.
Installation is straightforward and requires a neutral wire. The device is LoA and ICASA approved for use in South Africa and is housed in a flame-retardant plastic shell for safety.
