This module is built around the ESP8266 Wi-Fi SoC, offering reliable 2.4GHz connectivity. It features dry contact relay output, allowing it to switch AC or DC loads without direct electrical connection—perfect for controlling garage doors, gates, or access systems.
The Sonoff SV supports inching mode (auto-off after a set time) and self-locking mode (toggle on/off), making it flexible for various automation needs. It also includes GPIO pins for secondary development, allowing advanced users to customize firmware or integrate with other microcontrollers.
Unlike other Sonoff switches, the SV does not include a plastic shell or 433MHz RF support, and is intended for DIY and prototyping rather than polished consumer installations.
