Its ultra-compact form factor fits easily into EU/86/120-type wall boxes, and it’s LoA and ICASA approved for South African use.

This switch connects to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and communicates using the Matter protocol, ensuring compatibility with Apple HomeKit, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and SmartThings. It supports external switches (momentary, rocker, SPDT), detach relay mode, and two-way control, allowing users to retain manual switch functionality while enabling smart automation.
The Mini R4 Matter is ideal for lights, fans, and small appliances, and supports timers, schedules, and smart scenes via Matter-compatible apps. It does not require a hub, and setup is streamlined through Matter’s multi-platform pairing.
